First… 11 MORE DAYS UNTIL VACATION!!!!

It totally sucks being poor… and bored. Luckily, I am also bored at work and have time to peruse the internet looking for fun, family-friendly, free things to do. I did find that Chick-Fil-A has Family Nights every Tuesday and kids eat FREE! Plus we have coupons for free milkshakes and a free sandwich, so why not?

I also found a FREE admission night to The Children’s Museum of Tampa (the first Friday of every month), so that will be fun (… after the initial rush to get there right after work). Now, just to convince Chris to let us use the gas to get there.

There are many things that are fun and free for families, but most of them are meant for SAHM’s (stay at home moms) and take place Mon-Fri 9 to 5. What about us working mothers and fathers? We also want to spend some quality, free-time with our kids! Just because I have a job, does not mean that I have extra (or even enough, for that matter) money to spend on fun stuff. Just griping.

So, now I’m crossing my fingers so that I can finally win the lottery and start doing all the things I’ve been dreaming about.
