I realized I hoover over LJ when we are outside bc I don't want him to get bit by a ant. So I follow him around. He has a tendency to grab handfulls of sand and most of the time he grabs lil ant hills so I have to brush off his hands before they bite him. So I guess I'm a chopper mom too. lol. But what mom would let there kid hold a handfull of ants and let them bite them up? 1 more thing…. I realized I hoover over LJ when we are outside bc I don’t want him to get bit by a ant. I seen a show on helicopter moms...I don't think your one and def not like the ones I seen that took it to extream. I think there are somethings we can protect them from. Don't worry you won't always be there and she will be able to experience things on her own. Hope all is well with you.. I have to babyproof my house, like yesterday! Addie is on the verge of crawling but is meanwhile getting around just fine by rolling, pushing, inch-worming, and crawling backwards. She backed herself into a corner this morning and got really mad because she couldn't go any further and couldn't get out! Looks like you guys are learning to share small spaces!
